Since 1980 I am a self-taught and full-time quiltmaker. My quilts are a technical construction on the one side and a combination of emotional colours on the other. I am searching for a balance between textile flexibility, colour values, intuition and precise craftmanship.

In Cologne/Germany I work in "splendid isolation", but am as well a keen traveler, communicating, exhibiting and lecturing around the world.

Sorry, I do not teach, but if you would like my talk "Making Quilts and Journeys" I will travel to any place at my own expenses. You only have to pay a fair fee and offer a bed.
